The data is encrypted and processed in secure servers where:
- First, the document type is identified
- Next, the expected physical document security features are verified using the template for the document type
- Then, the expiration date of the document is calculated to verify that the document is not expired.
An “authentication result” is displayed on the scanner using one of three icons:
The green smiling face means the document has passed
The yellow grimacing face means the document was not recognized
The red frowning face means the document failed the testing
Store authentication records in a cloud portal
PALIDIN.ONE also optionally can store a record of the authentication in a cloud portal where a report detailing the results may be retrieved at a later date by the client if required.
